old pictures of old friends are heartwarming until you realize that you’re the same number of years older now as them.  then the pictures sorta suck unless, of course, the friends have aged horribly (or died) in the interim, which might make it a little better.  i’m happy, however, that these two are still breathing and holding their own on all counts.
