spent the day soaking in the sun and playing in the surf here today, nearly ten years to the day from when my sibs and i scattered our mom’s ashes in this very place.  it sounds creepy when i think about it, but for reasons i can’t quite articulate, its oddly and deeply comforting.  go figure.
