Saw Alejandro Escovedo last night.  With intros to songs like “I played this the night we opened up for the Sex Pistols at their last show ” and  “this is the last song i saw Townes Van Zandt play before he died while i was on tour with him and Rick Danko” it was pretty unreal.  Best part, though, was when he came out and played some tunes in the audience.  Dig those shoes.
